What You'll Be Doing:

We're hiring for a Senior Manager of Strategy and Operations for the Insurance Operations team who will report directly to the department head. You will be responsible for leading a small team of data analysts/internal consultants to work on some of the highest leveraged projects within the department. The Insurance Operations team is composed of several different teams and this function will be particularly focused on projects that span across these teams while also leading some specific projects within these domain areas. You should be a problem solver by nature, highly analytical, collaborative, and a strong communicator.

  • Partner with the Head of Insurance Operations and individual team managers to develop the strategic roadmap for the department
  • Own our data strategy within the department to (1) leverage existing data to help us achieve our goals and (2) build use cases for new data we should store
  • Lead the team to build interactive dashboards for each of the Insurance Operations teams
  • Lead projects to improve processes and handoffs between teams within Insurance Operations and ensure our department is well positioned to scale effectively
  • Build out your team and coach and develop existing team members

Salary range: $145k - $171k

  • Have experience leading and building high performing teams
  • Have a strong track record of solving complex and ambiguous problem that have a large impact on your organization
  • Are highly organized, a strong project manager, and can ruthlessly prioritize on initiatives that will have the largest impact
